Help With A Geometry Problem I came up with it, just needs confirmed

Here is what I came up with. If any of it is wrong, please correct me.

 

The radius of a square is 7.0711 units long. Find the area.

 

The work is:

 

sin(45)=0.707

sin(45)=x/7.0711

7.0711sin(45)=x

x~5 units

 

A=l*w

l=w

l=2x

l=10

A=10²

A=100 units²

 

In the end, A is supposed to be 100 units².

When you say radius, I'm assuming you mean the diagonal. If so, then when you solve for "x", then you are solving for a side of the square. And you already know that the A = s*s where "s" is the length of a side. So I think that the answer should be ~25, not 100.
