web_designer 7 Report post Posted November 24, 2010 in general, it is a good work, and it shows that it is not the work of a beginner. but i must say that you need to work more hard to have your own touch and to increase your skills. when you get the point of making a unique designs then you could say that you are an expert. for those two, i liked the first signature more than the second one. even it seems you worked hard on the second signature but it looks fade, and not clear. also i think you should choose another background, because this one is not fit with the render. so will rate the first one 6/10 and the second one 4/10. good luck in your next signature, and keep on posting here. Rogu3 0 Report post Posted November 24, 2010 (edited) Thanks for the feedback :DIm only in high school so i've still got plenty of time ahead of me! But with the second one.. you said i needed a different background. I actually used the whole render picture to make the background by smudging, rotating and blurring it, so i thought it would fit nicely. Obviously not! Rogu3 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2010 (edited) Little bit of an update! Re-rate please Edited November 26, 2010 by Rogu3 (see edit history)
Tramposch 1 Report post Posted December 3, 2010 Little bit of an update! Re-rate please Good signatures! Sig 1 - I really like this one, although it lacks a sense of flow, that is alright with this kind of signature. What I think it lacks is depth, I'm not sure if your aim is for the light coming from the background to light up the render as well as the background, but I think it might look better if those aprts are better lit in the render, to give the signature a bit more depth. The text has no real flow to it, what I liked to do sometimes with these kind of signatures is use a bit smaller text, and put it along something like the gun barrel, between the front sight and the rear scope sight. Sig 2 - I can't really give a lot of credit, because I'm not sure what was done, for all I could know, this could be a wallpaper that you cut off and made a signature and put your name on it, not saying that it is, but it doesn't have a sense of a signature, something to say you made it, and its yours, you know? Over all you did a good job, great for a beginner. What grade are you in highschool now?
