k_nitin_r 8 Report post Posted September 4, 2010 Hi!I'd like to add that you don't have to install Ubuntu Linux. The installation CD/DVD also acts as a Linux LiveCD so you can boot directly off the installation media to access the disk. When looking up the process view of Task Manager, there usually is no indication of where the file is located, so there's the risk of deleting the wrong file. Perhaps an alternative would be to run a Linux-based virus scanning software to remove the virus rather than manually looking for the file to delete. Virus scanners work based on file signatures instead of file names and so would zap the right file.
