Python is supported on the free hosting accounts, so it should also be supported for the paid hosting. And if it is anything like the free hosting accounts, then Python would be ran as CGI. If it were done through mod_python, then i would have tried using Python on my account. Some Python CMSs should work either way, so there may not be much of a problem if not done through mod_python. I don't have paid hosting, so i don't know how Python is executed on it.

I have no idea how to install OSQA; this is the first time hearing of it. If even their Wiki doesn't help, then we are quite at a loss. The script is based on Django, and i know Django is designed to be ran under both CGI and mod_python, but i have no idea how to install it.

Yeah, even i got bogged down with details like shell account and other things. I find it difficult to install it on CH. They're going to come up with installer for this script, let's see if anyone from their team can spend time testing it on Xisto.net free account. that way atleast we can confirm if it works here.
