A few weeks ago I found the best pre-modded phpBB version, IntegraMod.
It includes +100 hacks/mods:

-Prillian (php IM)
-Countryflags (upgradable with state flags)

-Download topics and posts (Also is a whole new dl system available)

-Knowledge Base

It's highly customizable to your needs and I would really recommend it allthough there are few themes available.

seems very useful i read through some of the hacks some are pretty useless but alot of them are things that i need, i wish i knew about this board alot sooner becuase i just recently installed my board and i dont wanna work on it all over agian...so i will pass but i definately want to use it if i have to swap forums or create a new one.

Yea most are useless to me to but the lay out and some hacks/mods are awesome, I just turn off or delete the 1es I don't need

Also available is the IM Portal wich can be used to upgrade your existing phpBB 2.0.11 to a smaller version of this system.

 

There is also a way to upgrade from phpBB 2.0.11 to the whole IntegraMod system but I wouldn't recommend that unless you're really experienced with php scripts.
