Swing Music, Swing Dancing And Swing Kids

I was lentining to some Django Reindhardt lately and I noticed the music didn?t sound like the music off the swing kids movie. I then downloaded the swing kids theme and though I could notice similarities between the swing kids theme and Reindhardts song new your city. I am then left to wonder if the music in the movie swing kids is not what the swing kids listened to but covers of those songs done with a modern flair. It also makes me wonder how close the dancing in the movie looked like the dancing they did back then.
