Guitar Hero How to be pro?

hiya I can play Guitar Hero III on medium with no problem and I can play on hard on alot of songs. but I find expert quite imposable :S with it fast speed tight notes and triple notes with space and I want to know who here can rock on expert and how they learned and the best way to master it? because I'd like to get really good so I can enter in the Guitar Hero contests they have around here often and I'm pretty sure you have to be able to play on hard or expert

I can tell you that if you just jump straight into expert on easy/semi-easy songs, you will eventually get the hang of it. I can still 100% a few Expert songs, and I haven't played it in a long time. If you have Guitar Hero II, try Strutter on Expert. It is one of the best songs to get you into expert. I jumped from medium to expert on Strutter and I did pretty well on it.If you know how to play real guitar or bass it helps a lot as well.
