Slave hard disk without operating system to be installed on another computerAdding An Additional Hard Drive Question

My computer has got two hard disks while master HD has operating system loaded, the slave HD has no operating system only data is stored on it and they work fine with my computer.When I connect (physically IDE slot )my master HD to another computer it detect it on auto and all data on it can be accessed.Where as when I connect (physically IDE slot )my slave HD to another computer it is not detected on auto hence all the data over it can not be accessed.

can I load an operating system on a slave hdd??
