TiGrE 0 Report post Posted June 25, 2009 DFX is the best audio enhancer to improve the sound quality of MP3, Windows Media, Internet radio, and other music files on your PC. You can select for which player you want it here!
rob86 2 Report post Posted June 25, 2009 DFX does indeed work very well. It seems to make almost everything sound much better. Another not so obvious use for it is if you're a musician and make music, you can set Winamp( or whatever ) to write to disk instead of play with sound card and run your song through it and DFX will enhance it quite well. It might not be as good as spending hours mixing a song.. and there are probably plugins that work just as good.. but this method works okay
SoundStorm 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2010 Well, i dunno about that. I've used DFX since it's earlyest versions but now i am using SRS Audio Sandbox http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ , which seems to work better for me. It's verry easy to configure and it works like an audio output device so it's not tied to any software. You can get it and try it from http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Audio/Audio-Plugins/SRS-Audio-Sandbox.shtml
