Indian Episodes Of Shoe Attack

Recommended Posts

It seems India is the country which got maximum inspiration from the shoe throwing incident that occurred in Iraq. Now, it is turning to a common practice for people to express their protest against politicians. The victims includes the Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Chidambaram, L.K. Advani, the opposition leader and prime minister candidate of BJP and today the large fish was also added to the list, the Prime Minister.

Today, one young computer engineer throwed shoes to the prime minister of India, Dr. Man Mohan Singh at Ahammedabad during a public meeting. As he is under security cover offered by the Special Protection Group (SPG), the shoe failed to reach its destination. The engineer was captured but Mr. Singh asked police not to register any case against him.

Oh yeah.. This is very bad. Worst culture is increasing with the inspiration of the Iraqi incident. Most of the members are doing this just for popularity as well as to get attention of the people and media. And media is the main reason for this wide spread of boot culture. Media is focusing too much of its attention to this type of silly incidents and re-telecasting them in their channels for every half an hour. And they are conducting special discussions and polls on their channels. All this rubbish acts of media are inspiring youngsters to do such acts to get media's attention immediately. If media ignore these cheap incidents in future, people will stop this kind of acts.
