Nickburzo 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2008 ok i setup my site so i can sell stuff i use oscommerce and i installed a template now when i installed the template i had to change sum permissions but after i installed there was a warning at the top of the screen that said i can write to config file so i fixed the permissions and the warning went away but when i go to my site if i type mysite.com/admin/ it just lets u access it without logging in can sumone please assist me. jlhaslip 4 Report post Posted November 18, 2008 Try these steps:1. Logout of the Admin panel2. Delete the cookies for the site and reload the Admin link. If it goes away after deleting Cookies, it is a Cookies issue.3. Close the Browser and reload the Admin link. If the issue goes away after closing the Browser, it would be a Sessions issue.Chances are that there is a Session or Cookie allowing your "user Permissions" to persist.
