Think of it as 1 vs. 500 piece chess game (Dudley's dungeon paraphrase).. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . & L . @ . n . . . . - example of a nethack game (minishot), yes it's ASCII. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . here we have the main player @ and a demon, nymph,. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . and lich - sucks to be that guy!It's based off of AD&D. Casanova 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2005 I did play the original version some time ago (and sucked at it), but I prefered the "falcons eye" grapics mod. It replaces the ascii characters with detailed isometric grapics. The gameplay remains the same, but now I dont have to memorise what each charcter is supposed to represent.
