A Really Cool Online Color Picker: Kuler.adobe.com

Recommended Posts

Hi -

Sometimes when you're designing a website (or getting ready to paint your house!) you need to have color samples which you can mix and match, to get an idea of how things will look.

There are several interactive websites online which help you choose a set of colors or "palette" - I think the best one by far is kuler.adobe.com from Adobe (requires Flash):

Try clicking on "Create" and then drag the knobs around the color wheel to create different color palettes. Under "Select a Rule" you can also choose the rule used for creating your color palette (Analagous, Monochromatic, Complementary, etc.).

A great interactive online tool for experimenting with color palettes - and for learning more about the art and science of color!
