saitunes 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2008 Hi All,I am contemplating on getting a small scooter to run around in for a few reasons, A it will be mine not my parents, B they are pretty fuel efficient, C Convenience.I am looking at some scooter models and they are fairly cheaply priced (compared to cars) one thing That is confusing me is the licensing reqs. There are different 'classes' of vehicles.RE = A motorbike with an engine size of 250 millilitres (ml)R = A motorbike with an engine size more than 250 ml.It is saying in multiple places that a 50cc Scooter can be driven on a C (car) class licence. Can anyone help me by putting the engine size (as per the licence classes above) into equivalent (or close to) in CCs? I take it 50ccs is well under a 250ml engine size.thanks.
