Mermaid711 0 Report post Posted October 19, 2008 Well today, we ventured into Waco, Texas to compete in our anual marching contest.We DID do better than last year.However we didn't do the best, but we did put on a darn good show. I will post a video of it ASAP.1-Superior2-Excellent3-Good4-Fair5-PoorWe got a two, which is much better than last year's 3.The good things were, virtually all of the show was in step. For those of you who don't know what in-step means, it means we were all walking at the same time. The forms were excellent. The colorguard routine was together. We hit all of our sets perfectly.The bad things were, one of our show flags weren't set properly. I tripped over the show flag trying to set it properly (stupid 6th grade band dirrector.) Saint_Michael 3 Report post Posted October 19, 2008 Not bad at all at least you know all the hard work and effort your team put in to do better payed off and so now you just have fix on hte minor mistakes you have made and you might be able to hit that 1 next year. They teach you all about working together towards a common goal.Don't worry about the 6th grade teacher. They will (hopefully) get better for next season too.
