skalor 0 Report post Posted June 25, 2008 Hey. I'm really new to using Joomla. I have installed a template. but it only works on the homepage. Any other pages on the site just have white backgrounds and weird text. The site is: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ User: guest Pass: joomlahelp There is also a few little questions like what does this do, and what does that button do. I know some of my questions a probably answered in big guides or whatever, but I'd really appreciate if someone could add me on MSN/AIM (who has joomla knowledge) and just explain some things like on my level. Because sometimes guides are baffling and confusing I would feel a lot better just speaking to someone, and it saves a lot of stress too. kudmus 0 Report post Posted July 10, 2008 Well, I'm another newbie and I don't think I'm in a position to teach anyone Joomla but I'm sure what u know about Joomla is not what Iknow about it. kudmus 0 Report post Posted July 10, 2008 Oh what a beautiful site have there! you chose a beautiful template but I still think you were not supposed to choose load sample data when you entered the database info. It's gonna take you a while until the site is 100% your creation. Between now and then people are going to keep seing Joomla this, Joomla that.
