[GUIDE] FuRiouS's Guide To Pub Stompage

By FuRiouS @ http://www.d2pk.org/

D2PK ACC. *FuRiouS

Version 2.0

So you want to be one of those people who joins a pub and owns.

All those hardcore clans that always seem to dominate a pub got you mad?

No worries, with this guide you will learn how to be a pub stomper.

:fart:

_________________________________________________________________________

Before we begin, note that as much as you like to, there are only a small amount of

Characters that can solo a whole pub. These characters need top notch gear and as

much as you hate it must require some skill to be played with. Some of these builds are

plentiful in pubs, but in the end all comes down to gear and skill. You must master your

character and have gear (BM or GM) to handle every type of character. These characters

must have minimal weaknesses and have a hard time being BM'd. You will learn all in this guide.

Requirements of a Pub Stomper

As most of you know most Pub Stompers have massive amounts of HP and can

tank alot of hits from the multiple amount of people hostiled. Most pub stompers

take down anybody in the pub even if it is their weakness. Every character has a

weakness which, if both players equally skilled and geared, should lose to their opponent.

What you must have

-------------------------

1. Massive HP / Mana (For ES Sorcs)

2. Max Block (You Must, No Exceptions.

3. Good Gear. (No Exceptions. No cookie builds)

4. Skill (As much as you hate it)

5. Experience

6. Gear for all opponents

7. Good Computer (Simply put you can't stomp with laggy computer)

8. Hacks/Mods (If possible) [EX. TMCmod / PK Hacks] [EXCEPTION]

9. Friends Who Give Help (Pre BO or even Party along)

10. Massive Amount of Hit Points (Required to take down opponents fast)

11. Not being able to get absorb to no dmg (Ex. Orb Sorcs, Farcast Zons, Trappers, Ect)

:fart:

2.

The Top Pub Stompers

Here I will list the top pub stompers. Each of these characters are able to own each other, so

pick wisefully. I will, in my opinion, write in order, the top pub stompers in order.

I determine these by their damage, tanking ablility, number of weaknesses, and the # of people

they can verse at once.

1. Hammerdin

As much as you hate it, it is true. The hammerdin is capable of owning every character in the game.

He can absorb to the max where he receives no damage, while still having high hit points and descent

damage. Hammerdins get boring after a while, but are the number one contender for Pub Stompage.

Top Hammerdin Gear

Helmet = BerBer Crown Of Ages

Armor = Enigma

Weapon = 9 Dex /15 Res Jewel'd Wizard Spike Bone Knife

Shield = Spirit Sacred Targe

Belt = Arachnid Mesh / Bug Belt (Europe MUST)

BvA

I chose BvA over BvC because no blocking on a BvC is bad. You get hit by bowzons,

zealers, chargers, other BvCs, and other melee opponents. The reason why you want

a BvA is because you will be better than a BvC (Which is like in every game) and can stand

a chance against a BvB. This is very viable. This > BvC. As a Pub Stomper, you will be

versing all kinds of opponents, not just castors. This is why BvA is better.

Top BvA Gear

Helmet = 40/15'd Up'd Arreats (Dex Str Skill 20% AR Best)

Armor = Enigma

Weapon = Grief Berzerker Axe (Must be Atleast 34+ IAS)

Bone Necro

I chose Bone Necro because of many reasons. They are great help in party PK in pubs.

They have amplify damage which almost guarantees a win with a Barb on your team.

They have golem which slows down any melee that attacks it. They have Bone prison which

handicaps any character without an enigma. They also have bone Armor which can Absorb

physical damage, opposite of a Druid's Cyclone armor. Their damage cannot be resisted

and cannot be reduced. They have many useful skills which all are used. Bone Necros are Great.

Top Bone Necro Gear

Helmet = Circlet With Dex / Skill / FHR / FCR / and Life (OR A BER'D SHAKO)

Armor = Enigma

Weapon = Spirit Sword (Other Mods + Massive FHR) ; Hoto ; High BoneSpear White

Poison Nova Necro

Some of you may be surprised by this. Yes, the Poison Nova Necro is a Pub Stomper.

They are the ANTI-ES Sorc, which can tank many many hammers with the right gear.

These guys are great. They have lower resist which helps your elemental party member

out, and have a 9k Poison Nova that destroys anybody on your screen. A lot of BvC,

BvA, Bone Necro, and Hammerdins have problems with 95% ES High Tanking Sorcs, but

With the Poison Necro, EVERYBODY in the game is your *BLEEP*. The only time you might

have some problems is if somebody in the game MASS-Resists their poison, but that

ALMOST never happens. On D2PK I have yet to meet a Barbarian who can kill my necro.

The only opponents that will give you a hard time is Hammerdins with all 20/5s. Poison

is damage over time, but Poison Nova does damage unbelievably fast.

Top Poison Necro Gear

Helmet = Circlet With Dex / Skill / FHR / FCR / and Life (OR A BER'D SHAKO)

Armor = Enigma

Weapon = Death's Web With Poison Die Facet (Must Die. Helps out A LOT)

ES Blizzard Sorceress

Blizzard Sorceresses are great. They can deal heavy damage while still being able to

tank a lot. These guys, though being able to be absorbed 40%, can deal impressive

damage due to their Cold Mastery which reduces their enemies cold resistance considerably.

With 80%+ ES, this is a great char.

Top BlizzSorc Gearr

Helmet = Circlet with STR, FCR, FHR, Skill, and Resistance

Armor = Enigma

Weapon = Death's Fathom with Cold Die Facet

Shield = Eld'd Stormshield

Wind Druid

Wind Druids are great. They mass rape pubs and are good versus most characters.

Their cyclone armor makes them great tank for sorcs and their wolves gives them 5

scapegoats to get hit before he does (if stacked). Druid's oak gives him mass HP,

and if Max-Block, he is a force to rekon with. The only disadvantage about a Wind

Druid is they get owned by Trapsins and Ghostsins most of the time. They are just

not good against them, unless they MASS Absorb to little or no damage.

Top Wind Druid Gear

Helmet = Circlet with DEX, FCR, FHR, Skill, and Resistance

Armor = Enigma

Weapon = Hoto For Castors, Spirit For Melee

Shield = Eld'd Stormshield or With A Good Jewel (Spirit For FCR BP vs Castors)

Weaknesses of the Pub Stomper

As you know, every character has a weakness...Even the pub stompers! Just because you

do have a pub stomper doesn't mean you can't die. Here I will list the weaknesses of the

pub stompers I have listed above. Read carefully, this can be good information.

1. Hammerdin

Wind Druids, WW / Trap Hybrid Sins, Bone Necros

2. BvA

Bone Necro, Hammerdin, BvB

3. Bone Necro

Wind Druid, Sorc, Very Very Pro BvC, FOH

4. Poison Nova Necros

4. Mentality And It's Key To Winning

Many people do not know this, but mentality plays a big role as a Pub Stomper.

As a Pub Stomper, your presence is felt by All. You must not show weakness, and must

not die. If you can, TP at low HP. If you can, run to town. You must never die. Never show

weakness, because your enemies will take advantage of it. Create rage in your opponents,

and if successfully done, their game play will suffer. You don't necessarily have to talk *BLEEP*,

just don't die. Kill anybody and everybody.

Must Not Do

1. Die

2. Take Advantage Of

3. Overpowered

4. Show Weakness

Must Do

1. Kill everybody

2. Have speed in your kills

3. Don't let your opponents attack you

If you learn to have great mentality while dueling, you will be an even better Pub Stomper

:fart:

_________________________________________________________________________

5. Gear In Stash

Everybody knows to be an effective pub sweeper you need to have gear for every kind

of character. This means BM sorb, extra resistance, more FCR or FHR, and DMG Reduce.

You especially need gear to counter your character's weakness. Here is gear you should

all have. Try to get most of these as they help a lot.

Elemental Damage Counters

Fire = Hotspurs and Dwarf Star Ring

Lightning = Thunder Gods Belt and 2X Wisp

Cold = 2X Raven and Snow Clash Belt

All 3 = Unique Tiara Um'd for High Resistance

Physical Damage Counters

Stormshield. You are already max block and this gives 35% Block. With Enigma = 43%

BvA Stash Gear

Window Maker Ward Bow. You should Um it for Open Wounds. Don't wear stormshield

Beast Berzerker Axe (For Non Melee Attackers)

Hoto 2x Switch for Higher BO

Angelics for high defense opponents

Blizzy Stash Gear

Doom Berzerker Axe (for melee pub stomp bm ^.^)

CoH armor for elemental resistance

Wind Druid Stash Gear

Spirit Crystal Sword

Spirit Monarch for next FCR breakpoint

Bone Necro Stash Gear

+9 to Bonespear White Wand

Spirit Monarch for Next FCR breakpoint

Poison Necro Stash Gear

Spirit Monarch for Castors + next fcr breakpoint

_________________________________________________________________________

6. The Upper Edge

Like it or not, hacks/mods help you in duels. There are Clientside Edits (Mods [Modification]

which do not get you banned, and other programs which can get you banned.

[DISCLAIMER]

I Do Not Suggest This. I will not tell you exactly where to get them. These HELP you a lot in order

to stomp pubs. It is totally up to you to use them or to download them. Hint: Google es tu amigo.

1. TMCBP Mod [speeds up your character making FCR FHR IAS not as viable]

2. Gmod [Loads of things]

3. TMCPK [AutoAim, Flash, AutoTP, ECT]

I'm not going to ignore this. Almost all pub stompers have mods or hacks.

Do to rules, I will end the discussion of Mods / Hacks Here.
