You're right, thinking every bad thing happens for punishment is just not right. Even from a religious point of view. But many people do this and I hate it. Some thinks like that because of ignorantness but most disgusting ones are the ones using dissasters to gain popularity or to feel themself over people by spreading words like that.

Yeah, let's get one thing straight. The people being affected by the China earthquakes aren't the ones who hate Tibetans, most of them are just normal people like you and me with families and are just trying to make their way in the world, and the earthquakes are nothing more than a terrible and tragic disaster that have displaced and killed thousands of innocent people, not "karma" for what's going on between China and Tibet. I agree, that's a ridiculous idea.
