Diskeeper comes with a host of features that are not present in the Windows Defragger and most commercial Defragglers. Once installed Diskeeper replaces the defualt windows Defragmenter. The latest version is Diskeeper 2008. Diskeeper has Frag Shield, which protects the core OS files from getting defragmented and hence maintain the system's stability. Diskeeper has another excellenct feature called InvisiTasking, which is a background task that does the real-time defragmentation without requiring any manual intervention and without consuming too much system resources.
