bittu 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2008 here is a trick to change the internet key. Almost all keyboards, cheap or costly, come with special keys including anInternet key. You can choose to make thatkey load another application instead ofthe browser. (The keyboard drivers oftenprovide this capability, but sometimesthey don’t.)To change this, in the Registry Editor,go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Appkey\7. Create anew String Value by right-clicking in theright pane and selecting New > StringValue. Enter the name as “ShellExecute”.Double-click on the newly-created StringValue and enter the Value as the path ofthe file you want to run when you pressthe Internet Key. Click OK. Notice from rvalkass: Anything which is copied needs to have Quote tags put around it.

Saint_Michael 3 Report post Posted June 3, 2008 Interesting, never gave much thought about where to change those keys, of course back when I had a keyboard like that I didn't want to screw around and break it and get yelled at by my parents .
