Hi,I do not know how long you did wait and did not see your site indexed in Google. But if you have waited 3 to 4 weeks and still nothing happened then you may check this little note out.Do you have any external links to your website - except here I mean ? You can go to your dashboard in Google Webmaster Tools and check if Google has detected any external links to your site and then follow the cause. Websites with more external links are supposed to be indexed faster.
rpgsearcherz 5 Report post Posted September 4, 2008 I'm actually going through the same exact issues right now.More or less I put up a sitemap, and Google has already downloaded it.Google is on my forums daily, and my site shows up in google if I use the site: function. In webmaster tools, however, it still shows that I have 0 outbound or inbound links, even though many of my pages are already indexed.I seriously do not understand how the whole google indexing thing works I guess.Pretty much my goal right now is to get my site above PR0, and even with many inbound links from PR1-2 sites it is still PR0. Stridr 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2008 (edited) Submiting it to search engines may help, but due to the ease of it, many generate spam and unwanted submitions of URLs. Thus its still best to advertise on websites that are already indexed, or basically, have links on already indexed sites. That's part of marketing your site. Letting the search engines index your site 'naturally' by being found by thier spidr bots is better.
