gotcha41 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2004 does there exist a free music player you can integrate in a site, where the visitors can choose between several tracks to listen to? There must be an option to decrease the volume or to turn it off. Can anyone help me with this? btw: free is the main word ! thanx in advance.

How this is what you are looking for, my friend uses it on his site...I went to the site, cant find anything like that exept for theirs, just insert this code into your site, 81 songs.... <EMBED pluginspage="http://macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1 _Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash" src=http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ width=105 height=110 type=application/x-shockwave-flash quality="high"> Edited December 30, 2004 by cragllo (see edit history)
gotcha41 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2004 ok, thanks for replying, it's a nice music player, but to complicated and the genre of the songs isn't what i'm looking for. There must be an option for the visitors to choose from a list of "songs" i've put together..... anyway, thank you mate ! More ideas are still welcome ! ill 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2005 http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Radio.blog is the first stand-alone player to let you stream sound on your website. Radio.blog can play as many songs as your file space will allow. It takes your mp3, wma, or wav files and converts the 6 MB files into 1,000 KB files (.rbs format). It is a great great, customizable, and easy sound application to use and best of all its free!! I would reccommend this music player before any others. So go out and try it! If you go to their main page you can find an example of it.. and around the web. p.s. be wary.. streaming sound files, no matter how small, means it burns a lot of bandwidth! ..depending on how much traffic your site receives

Randle Densmore Jr. 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2005 You dont really need a music playing, If you have Macromedia Dreamweaver you can just put a code in and then in between the "s you would put the name of the file and it will play on that page only. So if you wanted to put a song on each page you would have to put taht code on each page you want music to play.

Yes, indeed they can. If you are using Flash 2004 MX Professional, like me, there are some built-in media playing components that you can use. Just do a search on Macromedia website and they will tell you how to use them. There is even a time bar and a "media player". If you are looking for more professional scripts, you may also use winpy mp3 player, which is built on php and Flash. It is not free, however.

shigajet 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2005 I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the FLAM player. Like the name suggests, it's a Flash music player than you can download for free, customize it to your liking and include it on your website. You can find it here. lamode 0 Report post Posted May 17, 2005 this is not a popular player due to complicated installation, but i can say this is the best play ever. i had used radio blog before i know soundblox, radio blog is really easy to setup and looks cool, but there is not enough function for me. radio blod does not support mutiple playlist, mutiple album, background pic, or album's picture but soundblox has it all. if you interested in that you can find out more information about it at http://soundblox.blogspot.de/ and my web site http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ but i do not put them in album, i only put them in playlist and artist.ray,i hope this ring the bell
