Hello one and all, (whoever you may be)Im Chaos Design.I have just joined, so im finding my Forum legs, (please help me out cos i don't know what i am doing)I have been involved in the IT world for 15 years now (and im only 22)I started my journey on a 1983 AMSTRAD CPC 646, included with tape deck. (the PC was older than me)I am now a Computer technician Living and working in Sunny Blenheim a small Town in NZ (if you call a population of 25K small)For the last few years i have been interested in hosting my own site, but lack the Hardware ans software to do this, I have spent the last few days looking for A good active Forum to start my site, I joined up with one two days ago (posted 27 post before realizing that it was dead). It looked like it had been forgotten.I hope to gain knowledge from this forum and Provide any knowledge i can to help improve someone else's knowledge. The last statement reminded me of a Quote by Bill Gates "The purpose of the internet is to bring information to the people".I hope this is true here

Well welcome to Xisto.com, and I will say your in luck and found one of the best hosting companies on the the net. I will mention that this is a unique post to host website since we have a unique hosting system which consist of hosting credits, which you earn through post. So the longer your posts the more credits you get, and the max being 10 credits you can earn in one post, which means no spamming, no one liners etc. etc. To make your time more enjoyable is go here and read the the Xisto Read Me as it explains everything you need to know about how this forum works.

So enjoy your posting and then your hosting, and when your ready to move beyond Xisto hosting services then I recommend the paid services of Xisto - Web Hosting.com.

Since your a computer tech you will be able to bring in some good knowledge to the hardware and software forums and maybe teach me a thing or two as I recently finish a course in computer hardware a few weeks ago.

Welcome Chaos, I'm glad you could join us. Though some people seem to be reminiscing of the old days when the forum was apparently the happening place, I think it's far from dead. Because of the diversity of the forums, there's lots of information available. However, there are tons of topics that have yet to be created and many issues that are begging to be dissected and torn apart. Many of the Trappers, including me, are interested in many things and are eager to learn what this world has to offer, so don't be afraid to share your knowledge or opinions.

Just noticed you're a Kiwi! New Zealand is actually near the top of my list of places I really want to go. My cousin and her husband went during one of their many travels and the pictures were absolutely spectacular. One of their friends from there came to visit while my brother and I were staying with them, and we introduced him to the sport of air hockey. He enjoyed it so much that he actually got a blister from playing non-stop.

Anyways, sorry for the late hello, but welcome again, and I hope to see you around!
