How to turn off modem negotiation sound

As you know, when you want to connect to your ISP via dialup modem, your modem negotiates with ISP to transfer connection data. This procedure makes a sound. You can turn off this sound. To do this go to control Panel > Phone and Modem > Modems and then in advanced tap in Extra settings type atm0 and press ok. Now you can connect your ISP without any sound.

 

How to delete files and folders permanently

As you know, if you want to delete files or folders permanently without having to moving them to recycle bin , you can hold down SHIFT and press DELETE . You can do this forever with a registry weak.

1- Go to Start Menu > select Run and type regedit and press ok to run Windows Registry Editor.

2- Go to following address:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\BitBucket

3- If there isn't BitBucket, Create one.

4- In the right panel, double click on NukeOnDelete to open it, in Value Data field change value to 1 and in Base field select Hexadecimal.

5- Click ok and restart your computer.

 

How to remove Right Click from explorer

To remove Right Click from Desktop, Start Menu, Taskbar, My computer and windows explorer

1- Run Windows Registry Editor

2- Go to following address:

HKEY_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

3- Create a new Binary Value and name it NoViewContextMenu and give it value of 01 00 00 00.

4- Close Windows Registry and then restart your computer.

How to (VCD) *.dat file type to Windows Media Player

As you know Windows Media Player does not open *.dat file types by default. To add this ability to Windows Media Player

1- Run Windows Registry Editor

2- Go to following address:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Player\Extensions\Descriptions

3- In the right side, if last extension name is 8, create a new String and name it 9 and give it value of VCD Player (*.dat).

4- Then go to following address:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Player\Extensions\MUIDescriptioNs

5- Under MUIDescriptioNs create a new String and name it 9 and give it value of VCD Player.

6- Finally go to following address:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Player\Extensions\Types

7- Under Types create a new String and name it 9 and give it value of *.dat

8- Close Windows Registry and then restart your computer.

 

 

NOTE: incorrectly editing Windows Registry may damages your system registry entries, before editing create a restore point.

Wow, thanks! The one for removing the right click is a must need for me as at school it gets very annoying when people keep turning off the right click and the teacher can't even fix it. I'll definitly be showing him this and getting my machine fixed. Thanks a ton!
