Will.Allison 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2007 (edited) Ok, so I have a WBR-1310 D-Link router(wireless G router). I have a mac that is connected wirelessly with a B network card and I have a PC that is connected by a cable. The problem is, my PC keeps losing connection every 10 minutes or so for maybe 30 seconds. Is this because of the B connection interfering or do I just have a bad router? Thanks for the help. Saint_Michael 3 Report post Posted August 4, 2007 (edited) Have you updated the firmware for you router, usually if you do this, its fixes most common connection problems; thats what I did to get my router from crashing on me. Also make sure that Mac address on your main computer is clone on your routers admin panel since you need a primary computer to have stable connection. After rereading your post I would go with the firmware update since that was the problem I always had on the PC. ckcomputerstallahassee 0 Report post Posted June 12, 2008 yeah, I would update the firmware in this situation. Your wireless really has nothing to do with your router and wired pc connection. If a firmware doesn't help, your router may be the culprit.
