Poems From An Nairobi Urbanite My Beer

Recommended Posts

My BeerThe tower of pizza that does not leanBut makes men lean to it For strength and courage while it dare not be eitherThrough the of it ?tis filled with cool sweet lifeThat may turn life hot and bitterAfter a meeting at its summitMy beerCross both worlds my tower may,For the wealthy splay it in abundanceAnd the poor dance to its tuneProve a mans worth it willBut degrade a mans soul it willThe tower that does not leanMy beerA vice or a virtue? The forbidden place or a welcome home?We seek in this tower a place While we pray we would be outside itMy tower, my downfall, My anchor, my follyMy Beer.
