bhavesh 0 Report post Posted July 5, 2007 Well toolbar is coming from a newbie. I would like to ask admin and moderators whether this is genuine or some bug.
galexcd 0 Report post Posted July 5, 2007 I agree. When I first saw the topic I was sure an admin was the poster. I was going to check it to see what kind of packages it sends to Xisto (and perhaps secretly other websites) but it slams me with this message: It appears that you are using a browser which is not currently supported. The BizBar is currently available for Internet Explorer 5.5, 6+ and 7+ on Windows XP or Firefox 1.5 and 2+ on all supported operating systems. Even when I'm running firefox 1.5ITS BECAUSE I'M ON A MAC ISN'T IT! I hate people who don't add mac support to their software. Until somebody gets a chance to check out what this toolbar connects to, I suggest not typing in any information into it especially your password. I wouldn't even risk installing it on the browser you normally visit Xisto on just incase it has a cookie stealer in it.
BuffaloHelp 24 Report post Posted July 5, 2007 Tool bar that does...what??Remember to be descriptive when posting your topic. If it does search within Xisto, read RSS and all that shortcut stuff, we already have the Official Xisto browser plug-in section that explains plug-in for your browser. It's safe and fully supported by Xisto administrators.I, too, do not like the fact that I don't know who or what BizBar may collect. However, I appreciate you trying to support Xisto with various tools :DThank you.
Saint_Michael 3 Report post Posted July 5, 2007 Yeah I saw this as well, but I looked at hte named immediately before I open this topic, to put it bluntly this bizbar is like using the google toolbar and thats it, it has some interesting FEATURES but the FAQ didn't look all that convincing either. For the most part this little tool is interesting I give it that, but I could see same rather big problems with this toolbar if someone was able to compromise it. Like Buff said we have our own plug in and thats all you really need for this site.

galexcd 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2007 Oh... You used a website to make it -.-I thought you actually programmed it yourself. It does seem useful I would probably use it if it worked for a decent operating system. I'll be waiting for linux and mac support i guess...
