techclave 0 Report post Posted June 30, 2007 Which one JSP or ASP will you vote for? I personally think JSP is better and more flexible. And not to mention about Java's multi-platform and security features, JSP is a sure winner. I recently did a project in JSP and found it very very convenient to work with it. What is your vote and why??? (I am really sorry if i had posted this in a wrong forum. I was really confused whether to put this in ASP.net forum or in JSP forum)
Saint_Michael 3 Report post Posted June 30, 2007 Although I don't use these two to program with; I would be more inclined to ASP, due to the fact from a book I got and doing some searching. It would seems that ASP is more flexible then JSP since almost every programming language, through a series of mods, can work on ASP. If I remember correctly JSP is java based so that means you would be stuck to one programming language (correct me on that). Like I said though I don't program in either language so I am throwing a noob opinion on the question.
ramandhingra 0 Report post Posted August 2, 2007 though.. personally, i think jsp has it all and believe it to be the best.. coz of its JSTL feature.. which really enables to create a solid line between the webcoders and webdesigners.. but.. it isnt true.. coz, the world loves asp..just goto google and search for.. filetype:jsp and then for.. filetype:asp..shocking but true.. :-(..
