How To Make A Simple Grass In Blender

Here is a tutorial to make grass in Blender.
Blender is an open source free 3D modeling, rendering, and post-production tool. Go to https://www.blender.org/ for more details.
Not for complete newbies.

Once you have got blender open, you'll need to make a plane (Space-Add-Mesh-Plane). Push tab to goto object mode and push s and scale the plane up to a reasonable size.

Go to the materials buttons and make your plane green.

Now you have your ground, go to the physics buttons (Object Buttons --> Physics buttons). Make sure you have the plane selected and click NEW in the particles panel. Now make the options as shown in the image attached.

Now position the camera and Render. It will be pretty simple grass, adding a texture will make it better.

I am sorry iof you take offence at this, but you really should not name this tutorial "How To Make A Simple Grass In Blender", you should name it "How To Make A Green Flat Square In Blender". This tutorial is the biggest peice of rubbish I have ever seen and it seems to make no sense why even a newb would need it, making a planne is one of the most simple parts of Blender.
