robocz033 0 Report post Posted May 5, 2007 (edited) 2 things. what is it, and how do i disable it. because it is affecting smf and its extremely annoying.when i am in the installer for smf, it says that it cant proceed because of mod_security. it gives a fix, but it doesnt seem to work. jlhaslip 4 Report post Posted May 5, 2007 Mod_security is an Apache Server Module according to the php_info for the Xisto Hosting server (gamma). It acts like a firewall/security module for the Server. Possibly you need to submit an email to support@xisto.com to seek assistance with this difficulty.
