Damen 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2007 WOW! This little part was hard to find! Well I found it! Got introduced to Xisto from a friend. I was using my-php.net for a while now, still am actually until I get this one up, and in the past week they put forced ads on all pages! , well I don't like that. They say you can pay $12 to get them off...well the heck with them. Being required to be part of a community won't hurt me none! Anyway, your friend made a great suggestion - you've certainly found a great community/web hosting service here at Xisto. The people are friendly and always willing to lend a hand if you run into any problems. I'm one of the "veteran" members here and from my experience, stay active in the forums, abide by the rules and you'll rack up credits in a flash!...and if you're really active (and I mean long, meaningful posts that warrant a good discussion) you might even have up to a years' worth of credits (okay..so maybe that one's a bit of a stretch).Hope you enjoy your stay here and see you on the boards! Anyways, like I always say, if you have any questions or anything you want to ask about Xisto, then just ask me. Or, probably the better idea , ask another member with host posts, since they tend to know more :DDid they give you any warning that they'd put them on? Because it's abit unfair to do that. These other free sites just don\'t get it. They need to cater to their users. Even if it is a free site they won\'t get their money if they don\'t get traffic. Putting forced ads on all of their sites most likely got them some dough from google...but in the long run people will stop choosing their service. That is just a choice I guess they have to make. I'm Casino and have only been hosted for a week maybe but you diffently made the right choice in coming to Xisto for hosting. Meh, my host use to have ads as well so I had to end up leaving them too, lol. my-php.net? I think I have heard of that before, never looked much into them though. People are fleeing from them because of the recent forced ads. They should of atleast kept to old members with no ads and all new people got them. Would have kept people happy.
