darran 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2007 By web applications, I believe you mean as they are website services. Based on what I have seen, I do not need to download anything. I think out of the 3, the 1st application is the most interesting. Imeem, now I am able to play songs on my blog without using my own files. It really is a good service, for the office processor and messenger, I believe we already have Openoffice and MSN Messenger to do that. But this is really something to look into. It would be great if there are more web applications out there you could share.
shigajet 0 Report post Posted April 10, 2007 Thanks for the links. The imeem looks to be most interesting application to me. I already have OpenOffice (portable version) and I use Google services for documents, spreadsheets, as well as a private beta of another web app for creating and organizing tasks and projects. masugidsk8r 0 Report post Posted April 10, 2007 The problem I'm having with OpenOffice is that in its Impress program, animations aren't great. Its animations are not smooth. And what I like about Zoho's power point slides are that it's HTML based and it's possible to view it in fullscreen.
