As you guys already know I don't have much experience in sig making, infact I made the 2 in the application after 7 months, so right now I am experimenting after reading and going through tutorials and here are some of the sigs I made last night.

 

Please rate them on a scale of 10.

 

Abstract 1: I personally like this one.

I tried things with pixel stretch, grunge brushing, C4D renders and layer effects, don't know what they are call but overlay, screen, multiply and stuff like that.

really nice stuff. i love pixel stretch its a great technique. simple yet makes your work look good. Well done. And to think you didnt really do sigs. keep up the good work.

Yay! Billie Joe! I like them both, well, all of them, but I especially like the Green Day one, I like how you added the lyrics to "Jesus of Suburbia." Well done on the sigs (I like mine that you made me)!

Thanks. I think now finally I can call myself a sig maker but lol I still don't know anything about brushing and stuff, am not that good at all of that.

Thanks, I am indeed a beginner and I don't even know what's blending, lol, I just use feather selection and then take a soft edge brush and start erasing.

I love Billie Joe! Those lyrics are like my favorite from the entire album... And am so glad that you liked the sig I made for you, it was the first time I was completing a request here on Xisto after getting into the GFX Crew.

pixel stretch backgrounds are a good start but it's best to get away from them fast, because now it's all about layering, lighting and good blending.

They get addictive but old real fast for those who see them (well for me anyway ).
Personally I like the greenday one, as Imtay22 said, the lyrics are very well put .

Also, for a beginner you're pretty good, keep it up mate
