Do You Think We Should Tell People When They Smell?

Wow, you just reminded me of something that happened some years back, I had nearly forgotten all about. My X hubby and I did on occasion take in "stray" humans. We were caretakers on a farm, had a good sized house, and always plenty of od jobs that needed done, so it gave us the oppertunity to occasionally help out a few folks that had had runs of bad luck and ended up homeless for one reason or another. We had a girl come and stay with us for awhile, she had an abusive husband she needed to get away from. I had another off the farm job, and I got her a job there, but she stayed with us a few months till she got enough money ahead to get a place of her own. Anyway, this gal was unbelievably clean in her personal habits. She bathed daily, used tons of deoderant, and was in no way at all dirty. One day some of the other girls at work asked me how I stood the smell of her. Honestly, I hadn't ever noticed her smelling bad, but all of the other workers there thought she was really dirty. It really surprized me, because I knew how clean she kept herself. I guess she realized she had a problem, and that was why she tried so hard to stay clean. But apparently there was just something about her body that she couldn't help. I really felt bad for her. So.....if it were me, I'd just get to class early.

well i think if it's a friend you could be like:"man you kinda smell bad to you forget to weear deodorant today." but you cant say stuff like that to just anybody they'll take it affesively(i know i would) even you friend could take it effensively.but it's all about how you present it. man you stink -VS- you smell kinda bad

Anonymously sneak a note in a place where she will find it on her person telling her she has BO. Don't let anyone know you are doing it. Be kind in the note also of course.
