Taking Photo Stills From A Movie.

hey guys, is there any software that allows you to take stills from a movie because there is a certain anime movie scene that id like to cut n put it into my sig...sorry for my bad english hope you the idea.

You can get free programs that will do it, bulent's screen recorder is pretty good - just re-record the section you want then edit it in any photo editing software you have. Download.com & tucows should have it.

If you have Windows XP with Windows Movie Maker you can do it with that. All you have to do is drag the clip in there and as you get to the point click pause and then click the photo icon. I don't know how to save it but I'm sure if you right click on it or something you will be able to save that photo itself.

You can download Nero Vision Express from Ahead.com, it's a 30 day trial, but works great. You can also get another program made mostly for viewing movies called VLAN or Videolan, it also has a snapshot feature.

Power DVD should do the job if you have that already. And some other dvd software they isntall on your computer that goes with your dvd. There should eb a screenshot or capping button somehwhere that will do the job or otherwise search google. You can't beat google.

SnagIt will do it. There is also a video player out there, that is a free app, and allow you to capture screen still from a movie, but I forget the name of it.Do a search for it, you'll find it.
