This bio was taken out from a indian megazine.It was written in Indi.I dont speak indi Im from Spain,so i got my friend to rewrite it as he wanted to use this in his projected.I refrased it and went through the trouble of typeing It all out here for you

 

 

HIS LIFE STORY

 

 

A legend is born

 

On 2nd November 1965, at Talwar Nursing Home in New Delhi, Mr.Taj Muhammad and Fatima Muhammad became the proud parents of their second child and named him Shahrukh.Born with the umbilical cord entangled around his neck the nurse at the nursing home said that he had the blessing of lord Hanuman and will be a very lucky child.

 

St. Columbia’s School

 

Shahrukh khan started his formal education at St. Columbia’s School, which were run by the Irish brothers who believed in discipline and high standards of education. One was not allowed to wear wrong uniform or grow hair beyond a certain limit. Many a times Shahrukh would get his hair cut in front of the whole assembly of students early in the morning. He gives the credit of his hairstyle to the barber who stayed just opposite his school and was often called to give hair cut to the students. In school Shahrukh was a good student and his favorite subjects was electronics, in which he scored the highest when he passed out.

 

Hans Raj College

 

After completing his school he got admission in Hans Raj College, New Delhi. There he graduated in Economics Honors. He left his favorite subjects, sciences, and took up economics because he wanted his education to be such so that he could understand every page in the newspaper. Education to him meant being aware of everything that happens around us. He was a fine sportsman too but could not pursue his career in that direction due to back injury an arthritis-ruptured right knee. He went on to do his masters in Mass Communication from Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi and did well.

It was during these days that he was offered roles in television serials and acting career. He was also interested in making short films and started working toward it. This was not appreciated by his vice-principle and one-day he told Shahrukh that as was busy dabbling with theatre and television production work for short films outside the college his attendance was not up to the mark, hence he will not allowed to sit for final exam. Shahrukh got deeply hurt by this decision and left the institution with a promise to learn film making and return to the institution only when they call him as their guest lecturer on film making. He says he is still working on it.

 

Television Serials

 

Fauji was the first Television serial, which was offered to him I which he played the role of an army man. The serial was based o a set of young jawaan and their personal relationship in army training academy. Its mail target was to inspire the youth of the country to join the army set in Punjab about a Sikh and Hindu family who were neighbours and best of friends. People just loved him on screen and were touched by his sensitive performance. Slowly and slowly Mumbai film industry was hearing the arrival of a great performer. After this Shahrukh acted in a few more serials and finally met Aziz Mirza who offered him a role in “CIRCUS”, a television serial. With Circus his popularity rose to great heights and so did his career graph, which helped him a call from bollywood.

 

Super Star <_<

 

Shahrukh Khan’s Debut film was “Deewana” which opened the doors of film industry for him. He was playing a second lead in the movie but grabbed all the appreciation of the audience as people just admired his energetic and charismatic look in the movie. The movie was a hit and it earned Shahrukh Khan some great reviews from the critics. He was awarded the sensational debut award at the Filmfare award ceremony. The word was out. A new star has arrived. After this there was no looking back. Shahrukh Khan signed up with some top producer and directors and thus followed a trend of hit movie. His next movie “Raju Ban gaya gentleman” was super hit followed by other hit movies like “Chamatkaar” and “Maya Memsahab”. By now the industry had recognized the arrival of next super star that was in every ones heart. He became the first choice of the industries top directors. This led to his first association with Yash Chopra and he accepted such a role in his film, which was turned down by all top heroes. “Darr” Went on to become the blockbuster of all time. Although he played a negative role in the movie, the audience just loved him as a psychopath lover who stammered while calling out the name of the girl he loved. This let to a long time association with Yash chopra who went on to cast him in all his movies. “Dilwale Dulhanya le jaengay” [1995] produced by Yash Chopra was another super hit movie and is still currently running in a Mumbai theatre.

This was followed by “Dil To Pagal Hai” and “Mohabbatien”. He is also doing the next movie being directed by Yash Chopra. He has won all the possible awards at all awards ceremony and the only award he says is waiting for is the Best actress award!

The list of hit movies is large as he prefers to work with few established banners only.

His hit movies include “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai...”, “Baadshah”, “Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham”, “Chalte Chalte”, “Pardes”, “Devdas”, “Kal Ho Na Ho” and the later “Main Hoon Na...” Today he is the most saleable actor in the Hindi film industry with his fan following all across his world. He has worked with all the top directors in the business and they continue to repeat him in their next movie. It was Shahrukh Khan who opened the gates for all the actors to do television advertisements and endorsement. From soft from soap to shampoo and from clothes to cars, he has endorsed all. Presently he is the brand ambassador to Omega, the watch making company. The magic of this Khan will never stop as he is here for a long inning and is still going strong.

 

Home Production

 

Today Shahrukh Khan is a successful producer too with Chalte Chalte. His production company “Dreamz Unlimited” was launched in association with fellow co star cum friend Juhi Chawla and director Aziz Mirza. His production house has made movie like “Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani”, “Asoka”, “Chalte Chalte” and latest offering being “Main Hoon Na...” All these movies are critically acclaimed and earned his company a good name. Today he is a guaranteed name and his films are purely entertaining. He is called the “King Khan” and “Baadshah of Bollywood” as he to continue the rule the hearts of millions. Today he has reached such a position where his film flops or is a hit, his next movie is always is eagerly awaited. Things that make him apart from all other stars is his boy next door look and his kinetic personality.

 

Family

 

Shahrukh got married to his college sweetheart Gauri Chibba in 1995 and has two beautiful children named Aryan, the eldest son and Suhana, the daughter. Shahrukh has an elder sister named Shehnaz who stays with his family and is called “Lalarukh” by him. His father was a freedom fighter and a lawyer who died in 1981 when Shahrukh was 15 years old. His mother’s name was Fatima and she was a magistrate. She died in 1991.His house is called “Mannat” and is situated opposite the sea. :ph34r:

i am an indian.even though i dont speak the same language has sharukh and his people do, he is one of my favorite actorsalmost all the films he starred in has been a hit and he is one of the most known, or the best known bollywood star in the world

The Best thing I like about Shahrukh Khan is his Determination, Dedication and Humility. These are the qualities which have led him to stardom. He is handsome, cool, has a good smile, is multi-talented and a good human being are his other additional special qualities which I appreciate.
