Albus Dumbledore 0 Report post Posted July 4, 2006 (edited) Well, i may be late! but better late than never!So... just think in 1776 over 200 years ago, our fathers signed the Declaration of Independence, uniting the 13 origonal colonies: New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, South Carolina, North Carolina, Deleware, Maryland, Georgia, and Virginia... the thirteen origional colonies they were, now represented by the 13 stripes on our american flag!Although there are many ideals for the colors of the flag the most common are: White represents purity and innocence; red represents hardiness and valor; and blue represents vigilance, perseverance, and justice.just think, if it wan't for this day over 200 years ago, we wouldn't be where we are today!!heheenough of the history lessons everyone, go party! lmaoHappy 4th Of July Everyone Here At Xisto!!Long Live America!
