Finding that members of his contract agency, The ICA, are now being quietly (and mortally) eliminated, Agent 47 suspects a larger organization is moving in. Fearing he may be the next target, he heads to America. His jobs now will pay in straight-up cash -- and how he spends the money will affect what weapons he has and what he does next. The developer added new gameplay systems, such as the concepts of notoriety and of blood money. The new Notoriety system means that anyone causing a bloodbath worthy of front page news is risking being recognised by civilians and guards in the future. Blood money lets players spend their earnings on fully customisable precision weapons and specialist equipment, or they can buy additional information upon the targets and location at hand, to aid a successful and professional hit.This game also features responsive AI, and a much more intelligent overhauled gaming engine. There are some misses in the game though. For instance, you can walk right through gaurds sometimes. There are times when there is no one in sight, and then the next few seconds, a person appears. Changing uniforms is as mundane as it has always been. Even when you have a silenced weapon, sometimes people can hear your guns. There have been issues with the game actually freezing up in midlevel which is quite irritating, and the aiming system has some problems with the laser sight because sometimes you cannot even see the reticle. TheArrow 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2006 (edited) I haven't noticed any of the problems you mentioned, and I've played the game all the way through.The PC version looks and plays great, it's an amazing game!Silencers don't make your gun completely silent, they reduce the noise it makes. The people suddenly appearing is probably a problem with your graphics hardware/drivers, because that never happens to me. I perfer other games more than this but it was still a really exciting game to play.this is definitely a very good game but it lags some features. i believe tomb-rider is better than this with respect to graphics. But one day by chance I got to play Hitman Silent Assasin on my friend's PC and I liked it so much. Since then I have played every version of Hitman and I like the gameplay, the story and the character very much.I got addicted to the game.The bugs that some have stated here...I don't remember any of them. I played it quite a long ago, but didn't experience any such problems like some have mentioned here. I would say Codename 47 is great and so is the game.
