Plenoptic 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 A trap door is is a deliberate hole built in to a computer program, which can be used to gain unauthorised access to a computer or network.A back door isA hardware or software-based hidden entrance to a computer system that can be used to bypass the system's security policies.They are basically the same thing.
