Windows Vista Latest Version 5365 And 5381

Recommended Posts

On April 22, Beta Testers for Windows Vista were given a new interim build - Build 5365 - to test. Microsoft is atleast a month away from releasing Windows Vista Beta 2 and this interim build showcases several enhancements we can expect to see coming in Beta 2. There seems to be alot more UI refinement in this build as well as some great performance enhancements.

Setup has also be refined to let you see what stage the setup is at during the process. I can say that setup was a little bit faster this time around but there's still alot of work in this area to be done to get the setup time down even more. Some Screenys:

I tried to get my hands on 5381 but no use.Though Some Screenys:

Microsoft has made public six versions of Windows Vista Beta 2. These versions are available in English, German, and Japanese languages and in both x86 and x64 versions.

All the servers worldwide (Singapore, Redmond, California Server Farm, Dublin, and India) have been prepped and the public Beta 2 of Windows Vista is ready to download. There is no public release for Windows Server "Longhorn" as yet.

Here is the main site you can get it all:

I recommend the 64 Bit versions as they are the future.

Enjoy.

One thing I found that 'There are not much of OS Fans on this site.' :(
Vista Public was relesed a long time ago still no hipe out here in the OS section.

Just a small thing i Noticed and i thought to express it out.

May be there are not many OS Fans on a Webhosting Crazy Fanclub.

Thanks and have a good day. :)

Wow, with mymy current build I will no where near be able to support Vista. I only have 244MB of Ram, 1 chip! I need more :). Hopefully going to get a 1gb ram chip for my b-day. Not sure how my video card comes up to specs, it's a 3 year old computer. I'm suprise it's lasted this long, adding vista wouldn't be smart.

Really nice find, if I ever upgrade I may get Vista. Tell me how it compares to XP, I'd like to see if there are any major differences, screenshots or anything from you guys personally would be awsome.

Yes there are quite a lot and i mean very great changes.Vista has turned the way Windows Was.There are many screenys available on the net. Also if you have been reading the newspapers Microsoft Claims that it has been the highest Downloaded Software in the world. Its creating great demand amongst OS Fans.Try it out.If you cant there is a theme to convert XP to Vista.Try that with a Google Search.Hope you like it.

I've tryed the theme. I absolutely hate it. Very laggy, and I don't think it looks anything like Vista. Ofcourse not, seeing as how there isn't any transparancy. I'm sure I can upgrade my computer later on and get it.

I do like the new graphics of Windows Vista but if you haven't got a recent graphics card and a good amount of RAM then your computer is going to struggle. I don't think you have to have it switched on though. They won't work anyway if you haven't got a card newer than an NVIDIA FX5200 I think. Lets hope its more responsive when it is finally released. I don't think there are many real changes from XP they both look like they have the same features but I haven't spent a lot of time using it.

Ya that is one point that everyone feels about XP and Vista. But then again let it be Commercially launched you see.Once the actual Vista is released in 2007 it will be a Blast. So wait and watch
