dazappa 0 Report post Posted May 7, 2006 Google has recently come up with a great way for web developers to make some extra revenue from their website. This is called google ad-sense. You can choose to put image ads or text ads. Text ads are extremely helpful, especially if you have bandwith limits on your website. This also doesn't take a lot of time to load your webpage. You sign up for an account, but you must be 18 or older. Then you type in your website address. Google does have some strict rules with this. How it works: You copy some code into your website page. Once there, it will display relevent and completely customizable ads to the content of your webpage. When a user clicks on your link you will get some money. One rule is that you may not click on any of the ads. Only other people may click on them. This is a great, easy, and almost pain-free way to generate some quick income! You can check the revenue you have earned at any time by visiting the website also. Because the ads are directed towards the content of your webpage and what the visitors are looking for, they are more likely to click on these ads, generating you more revenue. I hope some of you guys try it sometime
Dragonfly 0 Report post Posted May 7, 2006 Hm, looks like you are the first one to know about Google adsense. It has been there for many years now. The developers at Google company didn't launch Google adsense RECENTLY. Also, there are many threads where Google adsense has been discussed and talked about. You also claimed that TEXT ADs are better option as it use less bandwidth from client site. This is not true. Google adsense be it images ads or text ads are downloaded from Google adsense site and merely displayed in publishers websites so it doesn't take any bandwidth from publishers website. Only Google adsense is bearing the bandwith. Please be more technical in your posting. Thanks.
Estupido 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2006 Hi, Where can I find out what Google is going to pay me when i put their ads on my website?
apexbug 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2006 It depends upon several factors. IF people click on referrals and go on to complete the assigned action ,ie.,installing firefox from the referral section u'll be paid a dollar. If some one signs up with google adsense and raise their account balance to 100$ then u'll be paid the same amount. But this works one time only.
