mayank 2 Report post Posted May 1, 2006 Well, Cooking course of two weeks!! I am not sure of any such course in India. I think it will be better that you speak to good hotels in advance and see if they allow you to be part of their kitchen for 2 weeks. As far as staying dry in India is concerned you can live in New Delhi and keep yourself warm as you wont see even a single drop of rain in this month however HEAT will be falling like rain
OpaQue 15 Report post Posted May 26, 2006 If you like nice pleasant climate, Head to North India. Else, you can always drop in South India to enjoy the scrotching Heat.
satishk 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2010 Two weeks is too less to learn indian cooking but if you dont have time then look for a professional cooking school who can depute chef trainers who can give you the maximum exposure in minimum time as they have a team of chefs/instructors specialising in different sections of indian kitchen .One such place I know is culinary academy of india in hyderabad which has been delivering courses in Indian cooking to foreigners visiting India. mahesh2k 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2010 North and south india most likely to have some rain in june. But if there is less rain this year then any part of india is fine. For good cooking it depends which part of indian recipes you prefer. South india has some good dishes when it comes to non-veg and veg food. Except Punjab rest of north indian states are good at veg food and sweet dishes. You can stay in Delhi/Chandigarh/Bangalore or mumbai if you want to learn from some good cooks. I can't guarantee you about dry weather in these places but try it anyway.
