You cant really get full dns capabilitis with your current coniguration/hardware i dont think. There might be some things you can install to get it. i guess it works over ip then. youll have ns1.yourip and ns2.yourip or somehting like that.

if you want to have a domain forward to your computer you can find out your ip on https://www.whatismyip.com/ and then make it forward to there. im not sure if all domain hosts offer sending it toan ip but i think they should. if not there is always http://www.noip.com/ that also offers free subdomains for it.

so lets say you sign up for itssami.no-ip.com then url for LOCALHOST/index.htm would be http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/.

hope that answeres you questions.

Actually you don't really need to setup anything related to NS or whatsoever. You can also go to http://www.noip.com/ and register a free account, then signup for a free domain there and link to your computer's current internet IP address. Give the NS (nameservers) at no-ip.com about 5 minutes to update their records. After that, try going to the new domain which you just registered, you should now see the contents on your computers, now hosted on the internet. So whoever that accesses that domain name will point to your computer's host directory.

@Inspiron : You said same thing what the guy above said...if i will register the account on no-ip.com , in that way , they will give me a sub domain , for example , itssami.no-ip.com , and then this subdomain will redirect to my files at my localhost...but im asking , if i want to use my own domain , for example , itssami.com , it will not help in that case... i want to know how to set up hosting for my own domain on my own local host.
