Absolute Zer0 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2008 RPG, as a genre, really isn't an age specific thing. Setting mature content aside, RPGs can be enjoyed by all ages. Young children don't seem to have a problem playing with adult characters in video games, and I don't think most adults have a problem playing where the main character is young. Reasons for me saying this is cause you have to invest so much time into playing games such as World of Warcraft, as there is a hell of a lot of stuff to do, such as raiding which can take up a lot of time.Young kids like the age of 12 spoil games like that, by messing about and just ruining peoples fun.
