serverph 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2006 just give google some time. and spice your image filenames with appropriate keywords. like if you have a picture of buildings, name it as "buildings001.jpg" or something. it would crop up in google image search better. snlildude87 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2006 If you ask me, I think that it's harder for your pictures to be indexed than your website. I don't know why that is...perhaps that Google spends more time on its main search engine rather than its image search engine? :-/One thing I can tell you is that getting your picture indexed depends heavily on your site's pagerank. If you pagerank is a really low number, than the chances that your picture will be on the first several pages in Google is slim to none. However, if the website that's hosting your picture has a high pagerank, then your picture will appear within the first several pages easily. So what you can do? Use another host such as imageshack.us to host your pictures!
Sarith Pallewela 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2006 I agree, you have a better chance of being indexed if you put normal name to your images ex. don't put img001 rather put hotgame.jpeg!
