Travis18520 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2004 Hey I am using a free template and everything is set so when you shrink the screen on your browser the webpage changes to that size. I am wondering how to set it to a solid 770 width. I have gone through the code and changed all widths, but it ends up not working and looking very weird. Please help!!!!My site so far is:http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
serverph 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2004 backup your file first, then search your code for this: table width="100%" then change the value - 100% - to the value you want -

atomic3 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2004 Depends on what program you are using. If you are using notepad go click on Edit->Find or in dreamweaver it's Edit->Find and Replace. Basically in all programs the find comand is under the edit menu.
boyCradle 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2004 if you are using Internet Explorer as browser. click View-->Source then search for Width they said 779 is the standard width size so every browser could show the page properly, but i think it doesn't always work. so try digits below 779.
