a hard drive is a device the stores all the information on your computer if you know what a computer is. If you dont have a hard drive you couldn't be on ur computer right now u could but u have no microsoft windows no linux nothing u would be like using DOS if you know what that is. Anyways Dos Is like if u dont have windows or linux or MAc. It will be like a sorta windows but not called windows
