Ssh Conjob For Downloaing A File From An Ftp Serve

I want to add advanced player statistics to my website using VSP stats generator. The VSP stats generator gets its information from a gameserver log file. I need to transfer this log file from my gameserver to my Xisto - Web Hosting webspace, I thought the best way to do this is to create a cron job which downloads the file every 24 hours, and uploads it to my website, by logging into the FTP server of my gameserver...The problem is, that I don't know how a cronjob like this is created. Can anyone help me a bit?

I guess I kinda solved the problem for myself by asking my gameserver host to upload the file every 24 hours to my ftp server.

In the shell, you can use a command called wget which allows you to fetch files from outside your website.
