Goosestaf 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2005 http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ (it is a trap site)At the bottom of the page it has news and details about the release so it tells you what works and what is comming and when.I know there are a few thigns i need to get sorted in the gallery, and Firefox doesn't want to laod the background of my site, even though i would have thought the simple CSS of background image would be fine. I cna however solve this issue by sticking the CSS style at the top of every page, opposed to having it as an external file, which is a pain in the *bottom*.firefox also renders the gallery wrong as well. . . .and don't get mention validation. . . . i really don't know much about it and don't understand what i've done wrong etc.BUT, if anyone lives in Europe you can visit the store and buy some stuff, as thats all ready to go enjoy
Inspiron 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2005 Wow I thought it was a site that telling about how heartless people create tools and stuffs to ill-treat other people or animals. It was your own site instead. Not a bad look but there's relatively nothing inside. Probably you need to add the features soon and probably articles on "Heartless Creations" for what it really means...Nice Xisto logo there too...
OCAC 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2005 great site, I particularly like the holy *BLEEP* bag....great design as well, nice big logos, easy on the eye.Good luck with selling stuff!
biscuitrat 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2005 Your site is very slow loading because of the images but I love the images. Lemme fix up your CSS issue. Your current background code is: background-image: url(BG.gif); Try this instead:background: transparent url(BG.gif); You might also want to try setting a repeat or fixing it in position, depending on what you want. For example to have your image repeat along the y axis of something (top to bottom), add:repeat-y; And for things like repeating vertically, add:repeat-x; And here's how you fix it in place.fixed no-repeat; Enjoy! Cerb 0 Report post Posted September 19, 2005 I'm certainly not the first person to ask when it comes to reviewing a website, but it does look nicely layed out. A little more content is in order, but the actual layout is great. Surprisingly, it loaded very fast on my stone-age 56k connection.
arboc7 0 Report post Posted September 19, 2005 Looks pretty good! The buttons might be a tad bit flashy (i.e., the "apply" links), and you have a break in your side borders (I think that was mentioned above). Also, just curious, have you thought about moving up to XHTML??

biscuitrat 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2005 Careful on the contrasting colors. I really like the varieties you picked out, but all things in moderation and moderation in all things or however that goes.Lovely silver you've picked out though. Tres bien! HmmZ 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2005 Ah, you finally finished it (well so far )I have been away for quite a while so i dont know how long its been this far, though i remember the splash page with coming soon :ph34r:Love the site, big fonts is what i dont like, but its a preference so i wont be judging it.Very simple, modern design, but my suggestion here would be to remove the gray background, if you remove it, it will display round edges, wich complies to your smooth design, basically thats the only suggestion i have, love the color schemes aswell
Goosestaf 0 Report post Posted October 4, 2005 the creativity bug has hit me again . . . i'm currently redisgning for the THIRD time. . . dam it. . . .oh well. . . Kioku 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2006 Remember that all great layouts don't look too difficult, yet load fast for viewers on slower connections. Otherwise, I really like how it is so far. Just fix up the load time and it'll be absolutely great.
