chinfo 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2004 A few more differences:-You can only use encryption in XP Pro-Many networking tools are disbaled in XP Home, like it can't be a server OS.-You can only install a [legal] copy of Home into a single computer, while Pro lets you install it up to three I think.-You can't install Microsoft's IIS or PWS in Home-WIndows SDK is only suported by Pro, though in my experience you can still install it on Home Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
